Mission Opportunity: Build Cisterns in Xpujil

The Witness Committee invites you to go on a mission trip!

Last year via zoom, we met Todd Luke, a Chicago lawyer who helps the Outreach Foundation build cisterns in Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula. Cisterns improve health by providing clean water to small villages.

In May 2023, the Outreach Foundation has an opportunity for you to help build a cistern or two. While the cisterns are being built (an easy process of mixing cement), you would visit the local villagers. The group would stay at a four-room guest house in Xpujil which is a six-hour drive south of Cancun. Each room has two twin beds, two hammocks, fans, and a bathroom with a shower.

Outreach Global Worker Todd Luke is taking a small group from May 22-27. Are you interested in five days of mission? Please see the Outreach Foundation website for more details, and feel free to contact a member of the Witness Committee to sign up!
